Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Ok worked it out. PreviousMenu doesn't work correctly. Even thought it's setup remotes.xml correctly as you describe it takes you back to the home screen and not the previousmenu as it should (and is defined). Back works ok. I will raise this on the xbmc forums as they broke something! Thanks Byron

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

XBMC2\Buttons\Remote\Menu does something different (takes you to the home menu).

It's definitely an Eden change where the 2 actions above are doubled up. Anyway it's not a big issue as I just simply un mapped it!

Thanks

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Just upgraded to Eden and discovered that when I went to pull up the OSD in fullscreen video I was getting the home screen menu as well as the OSD. Anyway a bit of digging and it appears that I have the same menu key mapped to XBMC2\Actions\General\PreviousMenu and XBMC2\Actions\Fullscreen Video\OSD...

Re: Configuration and Log window are not visible

Just did an overwrite install of the latest version and it all works now.

Had to reload Jonibs XBMC plugin but all appears to be ok now.

Very odd.

Configuration and Log window are not visible

Hi All, I have a problem where in the Eventghost main UI 'Configuration window and Log window" are not visible. Eventghost main window is empty. The windows are not visible but all my commands work. I've been using this version of EventGhost for months and it's been perfectly stable. Only recent cha...

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin

Ok cool, I've defined the Title key to both the Title action and CodecInfo, perhaps I don't need to, and just have it defined to the Title key. I will test tonight.

It works fine on my Xboxen and did work on the PC.

Thanks for letting me know.

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin

I found it easier to relearn all the commands. I think I've found something that doesn't work. CodecInfo. I mapped using the same keys as the original version and I can eventghost trigger it, bit I get nothing on screen. I'm using the same key as Title, but this combo worked ok before since Title is...

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin

[quote="kricker\You need to add this to your advancedsetting.xml file (learn how to ccreate one on the XBMC wiki, if you don't already have one)

Code: Select all

<navigatevirtualkeyboard>true</navigatevirtualkeyboard>
[/quote]

Perfect, it works now, thank you.

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin

One odd issue. I've remapped by up/down keys (all in the remote section) to be emulated keystrokes instead of the actual plugin command. This speeds up scrolling in file lists signficantly as discussed in the eventghost topic on the xbmc forums. ie. for up I have MceRemote.Up Emulate Keystrok:{Up} A...

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin

OK, I have found the problem with the directional(and some others) buttons in the "Remote" folder, some of the buttons and actions had the same internal name, so when a "Left" button ware pressed the "Left" action was triggered. I'll soon but up a fixed plugin, I have some tweaks I want to do befor...

Re: XBMC

I'm not sure how easily fixable this is so don't kill yourself. I'd be happy to test any modifications you have. OK, I finally had a chance to look at the problem, and I could swear that the directional buttons in "Remote" folder was working exactly like on XBMC on the XBOX, but now they wont do th...

Re: XBMC

Is it fair the say the plugin works like keymap.xml, but since it uses the event server ignores keymap.xml? My plugin will respect the keymap.xml for the buttons under Remote and Gamepad folders, and any direct actions will bypass the keymap.xml. jonib Ah ok, that explains it. I'm not sure how easi...
