Re: FIND Plugin

What is the FIND app? If I search for FIND on google apps it gives me all sorts of things. Maybe its not a UK thing?

Re: Nest Thermostat plug-in

That's excellent, thanks.
It seems to be reading the days on the right day as well.

This should let me turn the heating back on just as its needed rather than just at some point in the morning.

Re: Nest Thermostat plug-in

For me, just reading it would allow me the control im after. Other people do the writing via the nest website and I dont want to be changing that process for now at least. I recon this plugin has already saved us a fair few pounds as the building has dropped below 9 degrees a few times this year alr...

Re: Nest Thermostat plug-in

Hi Thanks for looking at this. The nest im connecting to also has software 5.6-7 which was the one released a couple of weeks ago. Out of interest, is the option to read the schedule working for you? When I try it reads in the first one, then for any other days it just sends the same output. I've fo...

Re: Nest Thermostat plug-in

I would hate for you to go to prison because of this... but... We have just put the nest in a 150 year old church and some of its abilities are lacking at best. The building is often below 9 degrees which is the minimum the schedule allows. The heating shouldnt come on unless it reaches the fr...

Re: Nest Thermostat plug-in

I know this is an ancient thread, but the plugin seems to still (mostly) work.
I could do with being able to switch into eco mode rather than just heat/off. Is there anyway to do this or is it simple to add this in?

As far as I know its a fairly new mode?

Re: Amazon Echo Skill EchoToEventGhost

All seems to be working well now. thanks! If its of any use to anyone, this is the code im using (im not a programmer so there is sure to be a much neater way to do this). It works via a csv file that has two columns, this compares words received with a list of keywords. For example if you were to s...

Re: Amazon Echo Skill EchoToEventGhost

Yes, Ive got all the ticks.
I think the issue is getting the response from EG back to the echo.
Am I right in thinking the {{bb_response}} in the index.html file is the response? so if I populate that variable in EG is should get back to the echo?

Re: RaZberry: a full featured Z-Wave Home Controller

Thanks! working again. After the raZberry upgrade I redid all the bits, but this time it needed raspbian updating, quick update of that and all is working once more.
That software showed nothing was coming in.

thanks again.

Re: Amazon Echo Skill EchoToEventGhost

Hi I got an echo last week and got this to work briefly. One of the bits im not clear about is with the alexa skills part, it takes you through the various steps Skill Information, Interaction Model, Configuration, Test. But then the next step is publish, presumably to the skills store or...? It doe...

Re: RaZberry: a full featured Z-Wave Home Controller

Thanks Walter. How do I go about checking that events are getting published to the broker? Is this done on the pi or from anywhere on the network?

Re: RaZberry: a full featured Z-Wave Home Controller

Hi again! krambriw, I notice on your plugins page now you have two MQTT links where the mosquitto is the old way? Are there new ways of implementing the z-wave? After multiple updates of the z-wave software on the Pi im still able to control the sockets but not get anything back into eventghost. Ive...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Thats excellent, thanks. The plug in seems to be a bit more reliable which is great Does it still miss when Kodi is started? I was hoping the last test ver should be close to 100%. To be honest, I havent watched much TV the past week so I have no basis for saying its unreliable in any way! I did hav...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Is there a way for me to stop this getting logged until its fixed? its taking up my whole log as it repeats every 10 seconds. The plug in seems to be a bit more reliable which is great, but this is making everything else a little more difficult. 15:27:08 XBMC2: Error: JSON-RPC responce, "result" mis...
