Re: Eventghost on Win 10 Raspberry pi

that is not anything new. and EG will not run on it. the Windows 10 that can run on that thing is Windows 10 IoT not traditional Windows 10. it is a development environment. Closer to Windows Core then to a full blown version of Windows. PLUS. EventGhost is not designed to run on an ARM processor. r...

Re: MCE remote plugin on windows 10 only working run-as-admin

I needed to run wires from one side to the other along a concrete wall. these were my choices.. option 1: pull the sheet rock down from the ceiling and drill a hole through each and every joist for the floor above (not a good idea because of the number of cables i ne...

Re: MCE remote plugin on windows 10 only working run-as-admin

no the flex shaft is not for rotary hammer (sds) drills. if you have a concrete ceiling. it is not just concrete. there is going to be a corrugated steel plate in there somewhere. sounds like a pain if you are having to deal with obstructions like that. simplest solution is the surface mounted wire ...

Re: MCE remote plugin on windows 10 only working run-as-admin

start --> run... gpedit this will allow you to edit the global security policies on the computer. running wire is easy. you need a couple of specialty tools to make life a lot easier. this is a MUST HAVE. it is a 54" long (you can get longer) 1/2" drill bit.. the unique thing about this is the flex ...

Re: New version 0.5.0-rc6 is out

Re: Weather Underground Plugin

It's pretty simple to do. if you open a webpage and click on view source. you will see the source code for the webpage.. In terms of weather I did a google search for local forecast.. and it brought up a link to weather.com with all the proper search parameters filled in for where I live. I used tha...

Re: Serial plugin doesn't process repeat data?

it is simply how the author of the plugin decided to handle the events. I am curious tho. If you place that event into a macro that has a Python script action with the following code in it. will it start generating repetitive events. eg.event.SetShouldEnd() this will end the enduring event. the big ...

TCP Events is not a serial plugin it is a network plugin. and it was not coded to use enduring events.
