and as far as the harmony piece is concerned. If it is attached via Bluetooth to the computer then i can intercept the information being sent in and out. and from there we can reverse engineer an API for it and possibly get a plugin made for it.

if you are running on Windows 10 I would suggest that you do run 0.5 RC4. there are a couple of issues and they deal with the command line switches and an issue with eg.SpinNumCtrl. I completely forgot to place a response in this thread. we have updated the requests library for the next release of EG (i think :shock:) I believe that fixes the issue with the missing ssl cert. I don't recall tho. I know this issue came up before as well... maybe search the forum for requests ssl ...

is it important that the camera sends the message to EG? or can you use a piece of viewing software that has an API and we can get motion detection events that way?. Blue Iris is a suggestion if that is the case
