Re: Eventghost on Win 10 Raspberry pi

lolz, i remember all too well! MS are terrible for having a great idea, releasing something that is 20% of the initial idea and then abandoning the project 2 years later when unsurprisingly unsuccessful :o

at least they are willing to gamble, unlike some... apple?

Re: controlling multiple programs from single remote

There are probably many ways to achieve this. I do it by using dedicated buttons on the remote which triggers the enable and disable action on groups of functions (in folders) relating to the device/program you are trying to control. In the image below I have 4 modes, plex, kodi, screensaver and Spo...

Re: eSpeak

Nice, I can use this to automate an Alexa skill when I get home :o. EG "Alexa turn on SLatty home greeting" ... Alexa... "Welcome Slatty would you like me to tell you how amazing you are today?" Slatty... "Yes Please" --- I'm English even computers get the courtesy of politeness! Alexa... "Well you'...

Yes K! my hero, I'll test and play with this and see whether I can find and fix bugs. I need it as part of my AMP control setup, without it I'm wasting electric and adding wear to my AMP for hours a day.

Re: Plugin installs not working

HI,

Definitely not hidden behind other windows. Tried with tablet mode on and off too in-case that had an effect.

It does work when EG is closed

Re: AudioEndpoint

Seems the issue I did have wasn't related to the plugin.

Working fine for me now, thanks a bunch.

I'd don't suppose there is a way to add a function to show whether audio is currently playing? Or better still has been active within a set window of time?

Plugin installs not working

When running the plugin files they are no longer prompting install in EG. I have tried a working plugin on the previous version and then tried it on 2 installs on 2 different machines, before and after upgrading to the latest version.

Correction... i'll start with a golden reboot... fixes most things :D

Re: WIFI Sockets

I'd be interested in the best option here too. I have TP link, smartthings and Xiaomi variants all working with something in the middle to translate. It would be nice to remove some middleware :D My TP link workaround is really messy. I've basically got smartthings and WebCore in the middle, it work...
