Is this topic the right place to explain my issue and beg for some help or should I make a new one?
If it's related to the Pulse-Eight CEC + plugin this is the right place.

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Jonib, with some help from KG, I got the double press thing figured out. This might be everything I need to get my remote working the way I would like. For anyone who reads this I essentially had to break a few keys in Kodi's keymap.xml files, and map them via EG. I learned that Kodi will search AL...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

So i want my script to command kodi to jump back seven seconds if the rewind button is pressed once, and I want kodi to just normally rewind if the button is pressed twice within .75 seconds. This should definitely be possible. I tried setting this up via the EG plugin jump if double event but that...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Jonib, I'm getting an error on line two from this script when I check to see if video or live TV is the topmost window. This code seems to work, my first idea was totally wrong. :o The parameters to XBMC.GetInfoBooleans need to be in the same list not separate like your code. result = eg.plugins.XB...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Jonib, I'm getting an error on line two from this script when I check to see if video or live TV is the topmost window. You might need to use "Window.IsTopMost" in the if test, print the result to see what it should be. I'll try it later if you can't figure it out. edit: Useless code deleted jonib

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

I got an error in the log when there are chapter markers I believe. I unblocked and added your actions.dat file to my appdata folder but I'm still not getting the manually added category shown in your screenshot. Hopefully my workaround in this post works as I really don't want to debug this, as I'...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

I'm not sure I understand either. I found the update actions button in the plugin settings and clicked it. I restarted eventghost but I didn't get any manually added actions category. And you didn't get any error in the log? Edit: Do you have a C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\EventGhost\plugins...

and I'm looking forward to an update to include chapter navigation.
Hmm, feels like I'm missing something? If you mean "chapterorbigstep" you just need to press the action update in the plugins settings, or was there a problem with it?

I'm getting this error when I run the script
There is a missing "s" in "XBMC.GetInfoLabels"
Have you added chapterorbigstep actions to the plugin?
You need to "update actions" in the plugin settings, restart EventGhost. They will be added to XBMC2->Actions->Manually updated.

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Next I would like to evaluate whether or not a given video has chapters via infolabels. If it does have chapters I want my skip next, and skip previous buttons to change chapters. If not I want them to seek a given amount of time. Here is my attempt at evaluating chapters via Player.ChapterCount. I...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Jonib, that looks like it works but I need to rethink what behavior I want out of kodi. Good idea as there are a number of ways to do this stuff in EventGhost/Kodi. But now that I have a simple way to play around with these little scripts I think I'm hooked!! I'm actually excited to work on these n...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

More like this, the infolabels need to be in the same list. You also need to test the results separately. result = eg.plugins.XBMC2.JSONRPC(u'XBMC.GetInfoBooleans', u'[["System.HasMediadvd", "Player.Playing"]]', True) if result["System.HasMediadvd"] and result["Player.Playing"]: #eg.plugins.XBMC2.Sh...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

I actually figured out the DVD part on my own, but that would not have happened without your help!! Great. Also, where can I look up the documentation for the JSON RPC interface so I can understand what all of my options are? Thanks again!! JSON-RPC API on Kodi wiki (a bit outdated) you can also ac...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

I would want to send Kodi this command if there is no disc in the tray. ActivateWindow (10025,videodb://movies/titles/,return) result = eg.plugins.XBMC2.JSONRPC(u'XBMC.GetInfoBooleans', u'[["System.HasMediadvd"]]', True) if result["System.HasMediadvd"]: eg.plugins.XBMC2.PlayDVD() else: eg.plugins.X...
