Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

My modified code still works, good. Nice I understand, that the {} should be replaced by the player number... I have not enough python knowledge to see what would be the correct syntax for this. If I replace the {} with a hardcoded 1, the code works. EventGhost 0.4 uses a very old Python vers...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Ok, I understand. Then it's ok for me to hardcode it for now.... In the future it can easily be changed, if needed Sure, I usually hardcode it too first but try to make it more robust after I get stuff to work. Traceback (most recent call last): Python script "11", line 1, in <module> player = eg.p...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Why do you try to get the playerid? It seems to be everytime 1, so it can be hardcoded? Or better not? The playerid is needed so the command knows which player is to be controlled (There can be more then one at the time like music and pictures), for video it is "1" for now but it might be changed o...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Unfortunately I haven't done much with the audio stuff in Kodi as I have a very basic 5.1 speaker setup. The other possible way I see is to try to connect the output from currentaudiostream with the streamdetails output, which shows me the DB information. (where the atmos codec information is stored...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Has any one a hint for me how I can get that? XBMC2->JSONRPC->Player->GetProperties and parameters: [1, ["currentaudiostream"]] Seems to work for the current audio codec. Then you can use this: eg.result["currentaudiostream"]["codec"] or eg.result["currentaudiostream"]["name"] to get the codec name...

This can be done. if you use the Task Monitor + plugin.
I'll check the plugin later, thanks.

But I already solved it earlier looking at the code for the Window related actions, I was going to post my solution but wanted to simplify it first, but time flies.

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

OK I have updated the plugin on the first post. I added the HDMI source selection I fixed the Raw Command action Great, gonna test it right now. The raw action gave me this error: Error in Action: "Pulse-Eight CEC+: Send Raw Command 4f:82:20:00: Adapter: EventGhost on COM3" Traceback (most recent c...

can you test something for me?

can you see if

4f:82:10:00 = HDMI1
4f:82:20:00 = HDMI2
4f:82:30:00 = HDMI3
4f:82:40:00 = HDMI4
They work perfectly, I don't even need anything plugged in to HDMI3 and HDMI4.

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

that code you are using is not a "source/input" select code. it is actually a one touch command code. If it is enabling you to change to a source on the TV and the device that is plugged into that source does not have CEC please let me know. Not completely sure what this means. HDMI2 is connected t...

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

"Set Device as Active Source" Ah that one, unfortunately does nothing for me. There is a list of devices that I don't know what they are referring too, I tried all of them and no effect. And the device seems to default to "TV" whatever I choose, so there might be a problem with it? jonib Devices.png

question tho.. why are you using the command input? There should be an action for changing the input and that action will enumerate all available inputs on the TV..
Unfortunately I did not find such an action, mind enlightening me?

How to detect what monitor/screen a window is on when it comes in focus?

On my HTPC I have 2 graphics cards (Intel and Radeon) connected to two different inputs on the same HDTV. And I would like to change the input on the TV when ever a window gets focus on a different input. So I need to see which screen a windows is on but I don't see any command in EventGhost that gi...

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

What should a raw CEC command look like? I can send these commands via the commandline tool to change to a specific HDMI input: HDMI 1 echo tx 4f:82:10:00 | cec-client.exe -s HDMI 2 echo tx 4f:82:20:00 | cec-client.exe -s But I can't figure out what I need to put in the EventGhost plugin to change H...
