Re: Text To Speech
Sorry was in a rush and did not get to respond properly. I use a command line tool called Nircmd (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html). In Eventghost, use the "System" action "Start Application" to run Nircmd with the command line parameter "speak text " and the text you want spoken. It will us...

Re: Text To Speech
Which voice are you using?
I don't think EG TTS works properly in 64 bit when using any voice except MS Anna.
I just ended up triggering an action to Start Application Nircmd?

Re: password protect
I am assuming your remote has numbers (0-9). These numbers will be used to enter the pin. If you don't have numbers on your remote, take a look at the SMS mode in Multitap. 1. Add Multitap plugin 2. Configure the plugin (see Figure 1) Capture.PNG 3. Add a folder ("Pin Numbers") to hold the Multitap ...

Is there an easy way of finding out which Python Script has an error?
I have several scripts in the file and am having a hard time figuring out where the error is.
Thanks,
Kalia

Re: IntelliSpeech
Thank you for the reply Pako. I think you are right about the hardware/software setup I have. I am using modified sound card drivers (kx audio drivers) which may be causing the problem. On a side note, it appears that the IntelliSpeech plugin (with my unique setup) was also causing problems with the...

I just wanted the password field masked so someone does not open the action and see the password. Don't worry about updating the plug-in. I already modified it for my own purpose to mask the password.
Thanks,
