Re: Windows on arm?

No problem, I don't mind waiting with upgrading of the laptop. I use it seldom these days, but need it for a few particular software packages, mainly related to programming my KNX home automation part. BTW, I have not investigated yet if the ETS KNX software will run on Windows on Arm. For informati...

Re: Windows on arm?

Thanks for checking it out! I must admit I don't understand much of the technical aspects you described, but I do understand from what you found out that Eventghost on that Windows on Arm machine will likely not work. I guess I will be upgrading my old Lenovo Android tablet to the new Samsung Tab S4...

Re: Windows on arm?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I am choosing either a new Android tablet (with tasker on it to get me the events/actions from Eventghost that runs on my always-on PC), or a new Windows on Arm Always-on device on which I hoped to run also Eventghost to get me the events/actions from my always-on PC....

Windows on arm?

The most recent Windows on Arm 2-in-1 from Lenovo, the C630, promises always-on and around 25 hrs of battery life. Apparently, some of the windows applications have to run in emulation. I am very interested in getting this laptop/tablet to replace my old Android tablet. Does anyone know if this will...

Re: OpenWeatherMap

Many thanks, Pako! Works great, I now have the wind direction as well. Just out of curiosity I checked the weather forecast, but that gives a huge amount of information that is difficult to analyze. Is there a way to print that information in a way that it is easier to see? Thanks again, Regards, Pe...

Re: OpenWeatherMap

Hi Pako, I started using your plugin and I am, like yourself, still on the 'old Eventghost'. I would like to use the property 'wind direction', which in the Open Weather Map dictionary is 'deg', I believe. However there appears to be something wrong, because I can get temperatures from the plugin (I...

Re: ZWave options for EG

The net io app works on android phones, or Apple phones and tablets. Basically you create an account. You use the online program to create your control pages. Then you download the app to your device. Sign in and the configuration downloads. You can save multiple configurations and switch between t...

Re: ZWave options for EG

Wow, this sure made my day!!!
If there would be an easy way to create web control surfaces with buttons and sliders to initiate actions in EG from webpages on Phone, tablets and PC's that would be absolutely fantastic.
Does this netio/app software allow receiving and displaying variables from EG?

Re: ZWave options for EG

Sounds great Kevin, thanks. Although I have not entered the world of Zwave yet (using RFXCOM with X10 protocol), this is going to make it very tempting to start trying it out!

Kevin, did you ever follow up on this?
Phil, did you find a work around for using Pushbullet?

Re: Webserver and WebSocket

I would like to start improving my webserver, which I set-up a long time ago, with only text-based hyperlinks to trigger actions and without any feedback. I would like to start using icons/buttons and preferably with feedback/variables. This thread is quite old and seems to have ended with a questio...

Thanks, good to know that it should be working. As for the log: I hope to be able to look into it this weekend.

Re: PushBullet plugin (Pako)

I did not migrate to 0.5.0 in order to avoid issues with PB but since a few days the EG PB plugin is not working anymore and I get the 'no connectivity' issue in the EG log when trying to send a Push from within EG. PushBullet between my other devices (Android tablet and iPhone) are still working as...
