Re: Detect which Mouse / Keyboard is used

Hi Medy,

I don't think this is possible.. As far as I know, Windows doesn't provide any information about the source of the key press

Re: Day 1 question

Hi Antiphon, Welcome to EventGhost! :) You guessed right, you get additional events with (almost) each plugin you're installing, so there is no complete list of events, it's a bit trial and error ;) Best way is to think of your scenario first and then just "try" if there's an event for it.. and of n...

Re: Any wireless keypad or App to trigger fx on pc?

I see, ok, like I wrote in my last post: Usually the macros for these kind of things consist of a "find window" action (which ideally can select the buttons or check boxes already), followed by a space key input Once you have a macro, there are 1000 ways to trigger it from a phone, remote control, h...

Re: SchedulGhost

Hi yardern,

Looks like your schedulGhost.xml file is corrupted.. I guess you would need to create a new one or restore a backup (if you have any)

I had issues with that XML file in the past when it was stored on a network drive, storing it on a local drive fixed the issue for me

Re: Any wireless keypad or App to trigger fx on pc?

Hi,

do you already have your macro and just need to trigger it by your phone, or do you also need the macro?

Usually the macros for these kind of things consist of a "find window" action (which ideally can select the buttons or check boxes already), followed by a space key input

Hi leromaro,

Yes, sometimes things are more easy than you think :)

Code: Select all

DirectoryWatcher.*
That's it - literally ;)

Hi

Try replacing (eg.event.payload.files) by (eg.event.payload.files[0])

Re: SimpleInputDialog.RawInput offset x y

No problem, right after the action that creates the input dialog, put a "find window" action, followed by the "move" action ;)

Re: run command within CMD and redirect output to a file

Hi Snowbird,

the description of this action is unfortunately a little misleading. It's executing a command, but it's not using cmd.exe to do so.

Code: Select all

cmd /c "dir c: > c:\list.txt"
Should do the trick ;)

Re: Save Changes: "Error! (backup)"

Btw. The latest release also fixed the issue with "quick save", that most likely destroyed your config in the first place. (Happened when you used "quick save" two times in a row within 3 seconds)
