Re: EventGhost, Openremote and Philips Hue

I don't have hue. But if there was a plugin for it I'd throw myself into my car and buy a pack of hues.

Re: PanasonicTV plugin (Control over Ethernet)

Yes, it is generally possible to receive events from the TV. The problem is that those events are pushed after a subscription. I have not had the time to deep dive into UPnP Subscriptions to implement the subscription itself or the event receiver. It is not completely off the table, but for now i c...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Ok so i finally found the solution to getting what's being played printed. Anyways here it is for anybody looking. PlayerID = eg.plugins.XBMC2.JSONRPC(u'Player.GetActivePlayers', u'', False)[0]['playerid'] eg.result = eg.plugins.XBMC2.JSONRPC(u'Player.GetItem', u"["+str(PlayerID)+",['title']]", Fals...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

I've got basicly everything working in the plugin except for "get current playing filename" I hasn't worked for a while I will probably remove it in the next release. You will need to use the JSON-RPC actions to get the filename. jonib Yeah i did a bit of back-tracking in the thread, so Iv'e also u...

Re: terRemote - Android remote app for EventGhost

I tried the networkevent sender for my temperatures, even tough i was enabling and disabling that plugin if i was home or not it did not work that well. What you can do is use autoremote (receiver message in autoremote, send via tasker to terremote) I solved my problem (further up in the thread) whe...

Re: Eventghost Online

I prefer Terremote. You need to do 1 step more than AutoRemote but your commands will always go through. I've had loads of hassle with AutoRemote :(

Tasker sends "event" to Terremote, you create a macro in Terremote that intercepts "event" and triggers "TCP.event" in Eventghost.

Re: Looking for a way to use EventGhost Remotely.

I think the "easiest" way is to send commands with Network Event Receiver/Sender. That's how I've solved it for myself. So when i tell my Server it's "Sleep time" EG turns of all my lights (tellstick) and then it sends a network event to my main computer to turn my screens off. So EG on both compute...
