Re: Mi-Light Plug-in

Will this work with easybulb? Seems to be the same manufacturer Assuming they use the same translations from WiFi command => RF, then yes, it should work with EasyBulb. It depends on how different the two bridges are, however. Would try it, if it works out, then great! ed// It looks like their draw...

Re: PotPlayer

Is there a way to add a "discrete pause" function (i.e pause if playing otherwise do nothing)? Or does it need to be an existing function within Potplayer? Otherwise would it be possible to detect the playing status of Potplayer, and then pause accordingly (i.e if status "palying" is detected)? thanks

Re: Emulate Keystrokes cannot send special chars?

I can'tr help you with the plugin itself but I can suggest a workaround.

Instead of using "emulate keystroke", you can use "start application" and point to a compiled Autohotkey script (exe file). Autohotkey can easily be scripted to emulate any keystroke.

Re: GoogleCalendar2Timer Plugin

Hi, as of a few days back I get this error whenver the timer is run:
19:41:35 SSLHandshakeError: [Errno 1] _ssl.c:480: error:0D0C50A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_item_verify:unknown message digest algorithm
could this be a change in the API?

Re: GoogleCalendar2Timer Plugin

Thanks for the input But, regarding "EVENTNAME", is it a wildcard native to your plugin or was that just a description for how the events look like? Because, what i want to achieve, is that EG OSD shows the next event in my calendar. I.e as soon as a calendar event is starting, the OSD shows what th...

Re: GoogleCalendar2Timer Plugin

Hi, this plugin is really useful , especially since my android based calendar watching is getting buggier and buggier. I was wondering how to set up the timer loop, I've never used the timer plugin before and I can't find any instructions on it. Also, how do I make EG react to the calendar events? P...

Re: Webserver error / connection attempt from outside IP?

Having a dedicated machine for EG with no internet connection sounds pretty appealing, I'll look into that

Re: Webserver error / connection attempt from outside IP?

Thanks for the informative reply. :D

Yeah, that's what I thought.

How would I make EG automatically block connection attempts from non-LAN IP's? I did find out tho that I might be able to use a UDP sender plugin that hopefully will be more secure than the webserver plugin.

Play random sound / python command

Hi, i wish to be able to play a random sound on my sound card. The normal playsound function looks like this in python: eg.plugins.System.PlaySound(u'M:\\test.wav', 0, False) I'm not a python programmer so I was wondering if I could get any tips on how to modify the python command to be able to play...
