Re: TCPEvents : A better Network Event Receiver/Sender plugi

I can't get it to be received by TerRemote. Network Event Sender works ("Map" function). I tried send event and send data but none of them are received by TerRemote. What could be wrong? Thanks :D

Re: Make EG talk to home automation central hub

Som jag misstänkte då!

I actually think I might use a Windows laptop instead of Raspi since it's more powerful and a lot easier to bend to my will without having to tackle the learning curve of *nix and mqtt ;p call me lazy cos that's what I am :)

Re: Make EG talk to home automation central hub

Thanks for the detailed instructions.

May I ask why you have so many Raspis?

Re: Make EG talk to home automation central hub

By which you are implying I should use a Raspi with MQTT and relay payloads to and from the Raspi using your MQTT plugin for EG? :D

And MQTT works via LAN right?

Make EG talk to home automation central hub

Hi I'm trying to decide on what device to use as my home automation central hub. I was thinking about using a Raspi or a rooted Android phone but the issues I want cleared is the communication between devices. I know EG can use Pushbullet and Autoremote, but those plugins communicate via Internet wh...

Re: Mi-Light Plug-in

Will this work with easybulb? Seems to be the same manufacturer Assuming they use the same translations from WiFi command => RF, then yes, it should work with EasyBulb. It depends on how different the two bridges are, however. Would try it, if it works out, then great! ed// It looks like their draw...

Re: PotPlayer

Is there a way to add a "discrete pause" function (i.e pause if playing otherwise do nothing)? Or does it need to be an existing function within Potplayer? Otherwise would it be possible to detect the playing status of Potplayer, and then pause accordingly (i.e if status "palying" is detected)? thanks

Re: Emulate Keystrokes cannot send special chars?

I can'tr help you with the plugin itself but I can suggest a workaround.

Instead of using "emulate keystroke", you can use "start application" and point to a compiled Autohotkey script (exe file). Autohotkey can easily be scripted to emulate any keystroke.

Re: GoogleCalendar2Timer Plugin

Hi, as of a few days back I get this error whenver the timer is run:
19:41:35 SSLHandshakeError: [Errno 1] _ssl.c:480: error:0D0C50A1:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_item_verify:unknown message digest algorithm
could this be a change in the API?

Re: GoogleCalendar2Timer Plugin

Thanks for the input But, regarding "EVENTNAME", is it a wildcard native to your plugin or was that just a description for how the events look like? Because, what i want to achieve, is that EG OSD shows the next event in my calendar. I.e as soon as a calendar event is starting, the OSD shows what th...
