Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

"Set Device as Active Source" Ah that one, unfortunately does nothing for me. There is a list of devices that I don't know what they are referring too, I tried all of them and no effect. And the device seems to default to "TV" whatever I choose, so there might be a problem with it? jonib Devices.png

question tho.. why are you using the command input? There should be an action for changing the input and that action will enumerate all available inputs on the TV..
Unfortunately I did not find such an action, mind enlightening me?

And I would like to change the input on the TV when ever a window gets focus on a different input. So I need to see which screen a windows is on but I don't see any command in EventGhost that gi...

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

What should a raw CEC command look like? I can send these commands via the commandline tool to change to a specific HDMI input: HDMI 1 echo tx 4f:82:10:00 | cec-client.exe -s HDMI 2 echo tx 4f:82:20:00 | cec-client.exe -s But I can't figure out what I need to put in the EventGhost plugin to change H...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

is there an equivalence-list between the keyboard controls in Kodi (https://kodi.wiki/view/Keyboard_controls) and the commands in eventghost plugin XBMC2? Hmm, so I'm not sure what kind of list you want but the XBMC2 plugin uses the same action names as Kodi, so any action used in Kodi should be th...

Re: Remote controls depending on active window/application

So how do I configure Eventghost, that is handle's the remote controls depending on the active window and sends the command only to this program? (during PowerDVD Kodi is in background) There are several plugins that create events when you switch programs/windows, like "Task monitor", "Process watc...

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

So I have caved to the notion of having stuff work and got a Master/slave power-strip basically it cuts the power to the TV when I shutdown the PC(sleep/power off) As I discovered in my testing if I cut the power to the TV it will respond to the power on command from the CEC adapter. This is a worka...

Reinstall the service from the "Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista/Win7" plugin configuration, should fix it.

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

I am going to give both sets of log files to pulse eight. When I was going to do this something happened with EventGhsot and I couldn't get it start...

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

libCEC stores the current state of the TV so if the TV is stored as being on and you tell libCEC to turn it on. it will not send the command. It thinks it is already on. But the get power info action does state that the TV is off. with your permission i would like to post the log onto the github fo...

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

I hate hibernation. it beats the snot out of the HDD. chews up space on the drive even when it is not being used. and it also causes all kinds of odd behavior in the computer. I newer used sleep/standby or hibernate before as there was always some problems with it for me. But now that I have one "s...

Re: Pulse-Eight CEC +

so the machine hibernates? or goes into standby?? Well both, Kodi puts it in standby, and the system hibernates after 60 minutes. But have not decided how to handle it just testing stuff. But for the testing it was not supposed to do either. About to do a new attempt but as it's my bedtime, I might...
