No updates since January, I have been working (slowly) on other projects. I'll probably start to work on this plugin again after I finish the current project.
Is this working with Kodi v18?
I haven't seen any big changes to Kodi 18 so the plugin should work.

Re: Media Wiki

Disclaimer: This is just my opinion. I won't be doing anything documentation/help related for EG. one of the following should happen either we deep six the offline help and go with an online one. I don't mind EG using an online help but I REALLY want EG to have an offline version available installed...

I have 110 attachments, I'll remove some old stuff.

Anybody willing to help with this you get to a nice list of your attachments in "Control panel->Manage attachments"

Re: Forum Attachments

because if i delete the last post that was made with an attachment it will start working again but only for a single post Don't know anything about forum software, but sounds like a limit on size or number of attachments has been reached. Maybe the software needs to be updated for a higher limit? j...

OK, so it returns a custom object, I assume how to access the information is documented somewhere maybe the plugins support thread.

I meant the output of the action you are trying to use, not the error from your script.

Re: Can anyone lend a hand with payloads please?

Um... Jonib... Well let's just say I'm gonna go hide under a rock now to escape the embarassment! Lol. Thanks for catching my mistake there. Easy mistake to make. Sadly the log is showing that the data captured by the plugin "does not have key temperature" so I'm guessing that I'm sti...

Re: Can anyone lend a hand with payloads please?

Thanks for the reply Jonib! Sorry I wasn't clear. I have three items in the macro, the first item is an action that pulls in the current conditions from kg's plugin, the second is an action that dumps the results to the log, and the third item is the python script I described above. To access data ...

Re: Can anyone lend a hand with payloads please?

Since it looked like a dictionary I tried printing the temperature to the log by creating a python script with contents print eg.event.payload['temperature'] but I'm getting results that say 'NoneType' object is unsubscriptable. eg.event.payload has data only when an event is activating a macro, I'...

Re: Can anyone lend a hand with payloads please?

What I do not know how to do is how to capture that payload element. I also don't understand what I'm working with in the first place in regards to the payload. Is it a list, a dictionary, a class? Yeah... I know, pretty bad huh... You access the event payload in a Python script (if it's rig...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

I know the feeling of having too little time... it can be quite a pain. For me it's not lack of time but lack of focus, anything and everything makes me lose my focus and then I can't concentrate on anything complex like coding, I can lose weeks or even months before I can start working on somethin...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

Any ideas on what changed between Kodi 16 and 17 to cause EventGhost to not work? So now I have tested Kodi 17.1 with EventGhost 0.5 beta 6 and XBMC2 plugin ver 0.6.33. And I don't see any difference compared to Kodi 16 with button actions, so some setting or program is interfering for you. All I c...

Re: Launch app as admin Windows 10

Nice information how to start Windows store apps here.

Using this in EventGhost start program action starts Kodi (installed from Windows store)

Code: Select all

shell:AppsFolder\XBMCFoundation.Kodi_4n2hpmxwrvr6p!Kodi
Don't know if this is the same for everybody else.

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

It's difficult when I'm on a group with the full guide windows to change group channel. I haven't used the current PVR stuff in Kodi so I had to configure it to find out what you are referring to. Using the latest version 0.6.33 of the XBMC2 plugin you can add "NextChannelGroup" and "PreviousChanne...
