Forum Attachments

Post by kgschlosser » Sat Nov 19, 2016 5:59 am

I have added .egtree and also added .egplugin to allowable forum attachments..

i also changed the max file size from 1 Meg to 5 Meg, and changed the maximum allowed form 3 to 10.

I also added the ability to send attachments in PM's with a limit of 3 per PM

I changed the cap on the disk quote for all attachments in the forum from 500 Meg to 2 Gig

as I have looked at the hosting package for the EG site and forum we have unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage. so a nice hefty increase was in order... but there still needs to be limits. and the 3 attachment thing at 1 Meg was killin me. and it had to be driving others bonkers as well.

Is the .egplugin documented somewhere? A quick search found nothing useful.

Very nice, I assume you can have more then 3 images per post now, as that's been irritating.

not as of yet. but i think with devs like Walter changing format people will figure out how to use the file... it's lot easier then the old way...

Forum still doesn't allow me to attach files with .egtree or .egplugin extension. Same message as before:
The extension egtree is not allowed.

just not paying attention to the fact the other extensions that are allowed don't have the .

took me a while to find it..

illusive little bastard that . is really sicks when you have it in a whole mess of code. because the little red squiggly under it is so tiny and when running at 5760 x 1280 resolution it becomes almost vanishes
