Plugin Config Panels Not Scaled/Size Correctly

Post by m19brandon » Wed Dec 28, 2016 4:45 am

Version: 0.5 beta 4

No stack or traceback, see attached screenshot.

I believe this has always been an problem.

Steps to reproduce.
1. Change Windows default DPI to 150%, restart the PC.
2. Launch EG.
3. Load the Configuration Panel for any Plugin, It is not scaled correctly and there is no way to size the panel.
Note: ScheduleGhost's Weekly setting is a great example.

SchedulGhost has even scaling problems at 100% DPI (EG 0.5 beta5)

i also came across the same problem in schedule ghost. I believe the issue to be in the new version of wx and not EG and scaling. i started looking at the code and made some changes It has something to do with hiding and showing of the widgets and the parent they are attached to I didn't get that far into it. maybe the parent is being hidden and the widgets aren't. don't know. that's just a poke at it. and schedule ghost does have some pretty complex code.

I never changed my dpi and this problem showed.
I haven't been able to find any other dialog that has the same issue.

Is there anywhere else where you have noticed this problem??
