Stores repping EventGhost

Post by skribb » Sun Jul 01, 2018 8:49 am

Just felt like making this thread. Anyone seen a store namedrop EventGhost? One of the biggest tech chains in Sweden, Kjell & Company, did so in the product description for one product:

Anyone got examples from other stores? :D

I wonder if EventGhost is mentioned in the documentation that comes with the device.

I have not seen any stores online or otherwise make mention of EventGhost. I bet the description is a pull from the company that makes the item. And I have seen product websites mention EventGhost. Like PulseEight as well as some other German made IR receiver.

it's kind of funny. I have been doing some web surfing and reading about EventGhost on other webpages/blogs/forums. EG is used more then I thought it was. From the information I have read the people that do use it is seems to be the core of their HA the center point for communications between unrelated devices. I know this is the point to it. But I thought that a lot of people would be suing it for IR and remotes. because that is what I thought it to really be known for. I guess i was mistaken.

There is a world of code snippits for other software to be able to generate events in EventGhost.

What's cool is that with so many compatible apps, they chose only two to mention, EG being one of them. 8) 8)
