Transmit IR Intermittent working problems

I'm having a problem with using Transmit IR, I learn the codes for my receiver box, and I can click the test button and it works my receiver perfectly EVERY TIME i click it, even if I click very rapidly. After I assign a remote event to trigger it though, it only triggers the receiver once every 5-10 times I press the remote button (yes, eventghost recognizes every press and calls the transmit IR app every time, it just doesn't seem to work most of the time)

Any suggestions?

what kind of remote events?
if it is infrared too the device might not be able to tell the commands from the remote and the one from the USB UIRT apart.
