UPDATE YOUR BOOKMARKS!!!
We have an issue that there is no way around as of yet.
I have done all I can to try and prevent this from happening.
We are going to be losing the .com, .org and .de domains.
We have not been able to contact the original author of EventGhost
(the person that owns those domains) to redirect them to the new web server.
I set in motion when we first moved a redirection from the old server to the new server.
I also put in markers so that search engines would see this change and update any pointers
they have. We still have the .net domain for the production site. and the .rocks for the test site.
For the past few months you have been getting redirected to the .net site if you used one of the 3
domains mentioned above. I just wanted to tell everyone so they can make any changes needed.
i tired to have a go at this yesterday, i downloaded all the required library but while compiling i get some errors that have to do with the "Tunehandle". i tired removing anything related to the Tune, but i still get errors.
i will try to work through these error otherwise i'll let you know.
thanks for the reply Pako
i'll look into those files when i get back home and try again, but another thing, my EG freezes everytime i try to add the OLED plugin.
(i exit EG, added the plugin in the folder, open EG and add the new plugin in thr tree, but then it freezes)
1) Run EventGhost with -debug.
2) Try adding a plugin.
3) When it freezes, kill EventGhost.
The Log.txt file is now in the C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming\EventGhost directory. I need to see its contents, especially the end of the file. There should be seeing what is happening.
There are several options. For example:
1) Using the command line (cmd): "eventghost.exe -debug"
2) Use the .bat file. Create the "run.bat" file. Type "eventghost.exe -debug" into it. Save and run.
3) Using a shortcut. Create a shortcut for EventGhost. Use the right button and select "Properties". In the "Target" field, write "-debug" to the end. Save and run.
I hope it is understandable despite my poor English.
