If I want to use the usbuirt to switch on my camera to take a picture on the timer then:
I learn the ir signal in the ir event and name it "camera on".
Then I create the timer macro with the "camera on" in the event name
Then when the timer is activated by delay or set time it activates the usbuirt ...

Ok so after spending a few frustrating hours i figured out that the timer needs the correct event name to make the event.

using the timer for the first time

EG version 0.3.5c.908
Win xp sp2
I have added the timer, usb-uirt and keyboard plug ins and then added a macro
I can activate the action by using the keyboard but unable to initiate the action with using the timer
