The only options are initial repeat delay and continuous repeat delay.
Both deal with repeats. I played with both, and did not notice any effect on
the first response delay.
Anyway, thanks; I'll play with this some more.

I went through pains getting USB-UIRT working, I had to create the config manually but it works fine now.
