EventGhost

I installed this plugin but keep getting this error:

Google Spreadsheet: Username or Password Incorrect

Not using two step sign in, quite sure the credentials are correct. Any ideas?

Is there a way to get currently playing track/artist information? Or better yet fire an eventghost event containing that info every time the currently playing track changes?

Does anyone one know how the webserver plugin manages to replace anything in double brackets in an html file (for example, {{variable}}) with EG variables? I'm trying to do the same thing with python but outside of eventghost and I can't seem to find the part of the webserver plugin code that does ...

My python skills are basic, but I'll take a look at the code in the meantime and see if I can find anything.

I having trouble with devices statuses using this plugin, but only for wired devices such as switchlincs. When I issue the device status command through the plugin for a switchlinc, it always returns the status as "off", regardless of whether the switch is actually off, on, or dim.

It works fine ...

I would love to have this plugin, would be happy to donate. Right now I trigger harmony scenes indirectly through the vera plugin, but it's not 100% reliable and I'd rather send commands directly from EG to the harmony.
