Is there an alternative plugin that can be used?
I had this issue and was forced to reinstall windows 8 because it interfered with too many things.
Any workaround would be appreciated.

I have figured it out, it was due to my switching of the input method of my keyboard to Japanese. I sometimes switch when I am typing in Japanese, and it seems to add this OemF1 to it, some kind of software thing. Still, wonder if I can disable it...

Yeah, pressed every single key on the keyboard with and without the function key held, no dice. I think it might be a keyboard issue rather than eventghost though because the start menu key doesn't bring up the start menu (but it still works, if I do start+e for example). Still, a way to remove ...

Suddenly all my keyboard events have OemF1 on them
Not sure what happened but none of my keyboard events trigger anymore. When I look at the event list, every keypress comes up as [Keyboard.Key]+OemF1
I have no idea what OemF1 is. Any ideas? Or how I can remove it?
