Try the newest version and come back if it still fails. There was a change in the API some versions ago that might cause the error you are experiencing.

Re: Philips Hue plugin
If I may ask. How does your plugin get the events from the hue bridge ?
Would like to react to events instead of making api calls. ( In case I will be able to create app myself // learning to code atm).
Does your plugin somehow listen to events from the bridge ? Or are you polling the API ? You ...

Re: Philips Hue plugin
Is the Pulse command a special Hue Bridge command like colorloop?
Because I would like to change the intensity (from lowest brightness up to highest) and change time (like 10 sec, or 60 sec).
Ahh and btw.:
When I want to set brightness to 100% I have to add the Dim Up command (with 100 at "Dim up ...

Re: *Request* Support for IKEA trådfri
My Philips Hue plugin will not work with the IKEA Trådfri bridge. The API is diffrent. But I've seen on the web people using the Philips Hue Bridge with Trådfri lights (without the IKEA bridge). I currently don't have IKEA Trådfri so its hard to make a plugin. If I get my hands on one I will try ...

Re: Philips Hue plugin
Hi!
Sorry for late reply, the email notification seems to not work anymore.
The error comes because you use lights with no "hue" setting. I only have colored lights, so I have not noticd the error previously. I will look into it.

Re: Philips Hue plugin
Oh I see, interesting. What version of Hue do you have? Is it Generation 1, 2 or 3?
Is it "get status as command"?
Hue bridge is gen 2 (there is no gen 3 bridge), most bulbs are gen 1 and some are gen 2.
I have not gotten my hands on gen 3 bulb yet. I have to have use for the bulb to buy one ...

Re: Philips Hue plugin
Just got a Hue gen3 starter kit and playing around with your plugin now.
Working pretty well so far! Just wondering, I can't seem to make a cold white. How do I change the Kelvin to 4500?

Re: Controlling LED strips with RF
I use the bridge, EG and my own plugin (PhillipsHue), I don't get delays when handeling the lights. I do get delays in handeling events in EG with the remotes. This is because Phillips will only allow pull of data, no push. :(

Re: Ikea coming with a new automation system for lights.
This is very exciting news! I hope they work with the Hue Bridge (and my plugin for the Hue Bridge). If its only stand alone its not very usable, but if it could be integrated into centrally controlled systems it would be great. Cheaper lightbulbs!

Re: Controlling LED strips with RF
Phillips Hue has light strips, they can be controlled with the PhillipsHue plugin. But Hue is a bit expensive.

Re: Philips Hue plugin
That seems to be a correct response.
The "Keyerror" is due to that I suddenly realized that the "non-colored" lights don't have a hue and sat setting. A temporary fix was to catch the error, I will in a future version handle this differently.
