I have stumbled upon this page before, it is very good guide indeed. If I follow this path, it would run therenamer everytime the directory will update, which is after each rar file is downloaded, thats quite a lot of unnecessary fetch commands to take up the processor ...

Need help automating therenamer when movie files are present
Hi,
Short question: Can someone help me with a python script so that when the directorywatched.updated becomes a .mkv or similar file, therenamer would start working, and if there isn't .mkv there yet it halts.
