For $1.00 USD more a month we make a jump up to the following.

Dual Intel Xenon 6 core @ 3.0 Ghz (12 cores total)
8GB Ram
250GB ...

Re: Timer plugin does not run configured event

If the event in the log is "Timers.Amplifiers.OFF" then that is what is going to needed as the event name to run a macro.

There have been changes in each EventGhost version released. You were running a fairly old version I would have to go back and check to
see when the addition of the event prefix ...

Re: Error opening options dialog

Sem;colon

The problem with the options dialog stems from another locale related issue. And while messing about with that issue 2-3 more problems with the locals popped up. I wrote some code that would fix the locale module in Python and correct the problems. Unfortunately I am not able to Monkey ...

Re: Z-Wave

Well that depends. how long does it take for homeseer to show the change of a device?... So if you go and turn off a light how long until homeseer tells you that it is off?

This plugin also exposes all of a zwave devices variables and settings. It is raw in nature meaning there are no fancy GUI's ...

Re: About missing plugins.

I was only letting you know and I do thank you a lot for posting them. we do appreciate it very much.

As far as Windows Home server is concerned. There should be no ned to reboot the thing. Ever. I have a Windows Server box that has been running for almost 24/7 for the last 6 years or so. only ...

Re: About missing plugins.

I just went through your plugins. There is only a single plugin that is not apart of the core plugins that get shipped with EventGhost. the one you have for the harmony hub is not a plugin.

Re: it only took me 5 years

You are better having the government place the taxes on you instead of on the power company. Because in the end it still comes out of your pocket. It is less expensive coming out of your pocket in taxes.

Company's work on profit margins. it's all percentages. This is a hypothetical set of numbers ...

My rant on the broken US health system

I had a surgery about a year and a half ago. With insurance that surgery costs 16,000.00. The insurance company would pay 80% of that after a 10,000.00 deductible was met. and that insurance would have cost me 750.00 a month.

OK so I have to pay the first 10,000 of the 16,000.

Re: Could someone make Desktop Remote fullly transparent?

Oh no you are fine here. It does pertain to this plugin. It is about a remote control aspect so it does fit. I did do some research and wxPython does not support Android unfortunately. Kivy is the only GUI framework that does.

Re: Could someone make Desktop Remote fullly transparent?

Hey, it's your home it's your castle. and you have to gear it up in the manner you want. doesn't matter if it is 1 room or 300 rooms.

wxPython the GUI framework that EventGhost uses is cross platform. Android is a flavor of Linux. I am not sure if there is a Python interpreter for Android I would ...

Re: Could someone make Desktop Remote fullly transparent?

If wanted I could set it up so that the wallpaper is the remote control. create an invisible window set it to the bottom of the z order (so it is always the bottom most window) I could pass right clicks to the actual desktop when needed. so in essence the wallpaper would be the remote. The hard part ...

Re: it only took me 5 years

It funny because you mention that. because we are not to far away from another "great depression" except when this one happens it is going to be so catastrophic that US will become a 3rd world country almost overnight. All of those "rich" people better not be in this country. They will literally be ...
