Hi guys, long time since I last visited this thread. This plugin is awesome, but I pretty often notice that EG doesn't receive events from Kodi (running Openelec 5.0). It seems that it is not listening to Kodi startup events at all. When I restart this EG-plugin, everything works as designed!!

It sends a ping command periodically to keep a connection alive, I might need to adjust it to detect non responding connection.

I don't really use the events from Kodi and I don't use any sleep ...

I really think I need to take a python crash course. It seems so simple but I cannot make this simple configuration to work. The lights turns on any time of the day when the magnet switch opens, despite that it is stated in the python code that should only execute the action between 15 and 19 ...

Haha, great Krambriw! Actually I came back now because it didnt work as excpected. I will try this setup.
One question though, the python script should replace the "old" action, right?

Wtf? I wonder what I thought about when I set up the code. Of course you are right. I think I need to blame the "vacation brain" for this error.

Sorry, I am gonna bump this old thread since I need som help with python coding (which I do not know). One certain event should pnly be triggered between 15 and 19. If that requirement is not fullfilled, this event should not be completed.
This is not working, it allows the event to be triggered ...

I know this issue can be connected to the HTPC and not to EG, I just wanted to know if this is well-known and maybe get a pointer on how to ...
