Re: Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista and newer

However, there is an eventghost Plugin for LIRC, I never used it, but maybe it'll help you: http://www.eventghost.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=219&hilit=Lirc&start=75
Many thanks, but unfortunately it has the same problem as the MCE remote plugin from EG - as expected. :|

- its working "ok" with media keys with the "Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista/Win7" plugin when it NEVER works with emulated ...

Re: Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista and newer

Config:

Logitech Harmony Remote
HP 5187-4593 RC6 USB eHome Reciver
Windows 10 64 Bit
Eventghost r1722

Unfortunately I cant get this combo to work flawless. When I use the MCE Remote Plugin Vista/Win7 I get random events in EG. Pressing ONE button at ONE time results (often but not always) in the ...

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)

You should have a look at the mce plugin for that. Make sure you got the latest version of it here from the forums. The mce plugin should take care of intercepting the hid commands.
Ok im gonna ask my question there. Jesus, this is not easy. :(

If anybody in this thread has any idea, please post ...

Re: Windows 10 64 Bit + HP RC6 Receiver + Harmony + XBMC2

Thanks guys for Your replies and Your support :)

However I stumbled into another problem:

How can I send keystrokes directly from the harmony remote to Kodi on my PC, while the Kodi window is NOT active?

My thinking about this whole topic is the following:

Re: Windows 10 64 Bit + HP RC6 Receiver + Harmony + XBMC2

Thanks for the quick replies, guys!

Always running EG as administrator fixed the main problem, that EG didnt received/interpreted IR signals. I remember that this was mentioned anywhere in a tutorial (or maybe not in the tutorial but somewhere in the postings under the tutorial), too bad its not ...
