Mouse clicking on the notification popup simply opens a new chrome tab to the webpage link that's contained in the notification.

No it's not an app. It is a just a website (that requires logging in with my credentials). So it's the default Chrome notification function. In the Chrome browser privacy > notification section it is listed like this - example.com:80

Chrome browser pops up a notification in the corner of the screen and plays a sound.

Since EG can't be triggered by the screen pop up notification, can EG be triggered by the sound that Chrome plays?

Is there a way for EG to monitor when the pc plays a certain sound file? Perform an action when that sound is played on the PC?
