Sadly it doesn't seem to connect to vlc.
could it be because i'm running the newest 64-bit version?
The oldrc interface is ticked in the settings, and I also tried to add the parameter in a shortcut to vlc.

Just tested with my dim-switch, and do get events from it.
(my dimmer is named Kjellerstua bryter)
Press and hold Dim up: PhilipsHue.Kjellerstua bryter.button2000
Keep holding it and this will repeat: PhilipsHue.Kjellerstua bryter.button2001
When you release dim up: PhilipsHue ...

This is a great plugin which really increases the value of my Philips hue bulbs!
I do have some issues though, and I'm wondering if there's still any development?
I tried using the (group)create scene function, but it didn't help me (it always creates a new scene, so now iv'e got multiple scenes ...
