After a while the plugin stops working for me.
I even deleted the controller on the TV to start all from zero but the inputs still stop working after a while.
Sometimes I also get some log errors like this:
Error in Action: "Samsung Smart TV IP Control +: Alternate Power: SHCHC5ZTTO2RS"

Re: EG - Detect Virtual Input
So far not much luck on this.
I found a SimKey plugin but is very old and it just freezes EG
Apparently this plugin was supposed to register Virtual keyboard inputs.

Re: Changes to System.DeviceAttached/System.DeviceRemoved
Or are you referring to a device connecting to the Bluetooth??
Yep I have a bluetooth dongle and need to detect the events when the controller connects to it ;)
Are you using the ones that came with windows or are you using the broadcom widcomm drivers?[/quote]

Re: EG - Detect Virtual Input
The steam virtual keyboard works just like the windows virtual keyboard (osk.exe).
Any program will detect the inputs just fine.
There is no need to select a program

Re: AudioEndpoint
This plugin is causing some severe slowdown on my system if "state changes" is selected.

Re: Changes to System.DeviceAttached/System.DeviceRemoved
Is this System-1.2.0.egplugin safe to use with RC4?
It looks like is working fine,
but I'm only getting the DeviceRemoved working 100%.
When my BT controller connects I only get the event the first time.
one the next connections I get no event.
System.Device.Attached.HIDDevice.HID-compliant game ...

Re: EG - Detect Virtual Input
Thanks for helping me out!!
"need to know what the "gamepad" is. and what are you using to emulate the keystrokes?"
I'm using a DS4 controller fully custumized in the steam app using the steam controller hotkeys.
And yes the gamepad is emulating a keyboard.
There is both the full steam keyboard ...

EG - Detect Virtual Input
Ok so I just started learning about EG for about some days.
My setup is that when my gamepad connects to the PC EG will change the main display and audio from the monitor to the TV.
And also turns the TV on + Source HDMI1.
Basically I created a HDMI-CEC effect.
This first step is woking 100% great ...

Re: TaskMonitorPlus plugin - v0.0.5
Any chance you could release a version of this plugin for 0.4?
The reason is that I'm also running a 0.4 plugin that is not updated to 0.5.
Is egSamsungTV.
A plugin for network control of more modern Samsung TVs.
IT can even turn the TV on
