Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

cool :)

We will look into anything we can do to adjust brightness, but remember apple sometimes allows the big players on the app store to use Private API's which the average developer would not be approved to use.

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

EventGhost plugin was mainly written to provide our customers with a way to have control over PC apps, without having to write our own PC software.

The J9 stuff interests me, just don't have time to work on a plugin. If anyone could get in touch with the J9 developer(s) we could help them with all ...

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

Not possible to embed apps currently, and not with the iPhone OS 4.0 announcements either, so will be a long way off.

I dont know EventGhost enough to help with the others sorry, but for time could you just popup the standard status bar?
Try activating the following digital joins for status bar ...

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

Hardly any power difference unfortunately. The backlight still has to be at the same level.

Set the page flip to "return" and it will go back to whatever page you were on before hand.

Custom keyboard is already possible, just make some buttons and assign them as keystrokes in eventghost.
Mouse ...

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

Cool. I like what you did with the black screen, ingenious. Of course not saving any battery power, but serves a purpose.

Maybe we need to get a petition going to allow our app to have full control over screen brightness and power ;)

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

Yeah maybe I have a cheapo one. No harm in trying it to reduce the brightness I guess.

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

Not a fan of those screen protectors (I have one on my iPhone at the moment and it ends up ugly and dirty on the edges).
Apple even banned their sale in the apple store I believe.

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

Unfortunately thats just the way the iPhone/iPad work, no way around it officially.

There is a guy who has a kiosk mode hack for iPod Touch working, where it disables the slide to unlock screen completely, and keeps wifi alive with the screen off, and turns the screen back on via accelerometer (no ...

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

I havent had time to look into it in great details, but first thoughts are:
1. Connections will not remain active due to background apps not being able to maintain their network connections.
2. Switching back to iViewer will be quicker as we can persist the state. No more having to reload the GUI ...

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

For His/Hers control, you can use one of our OEM customers apps:
Depending what country App Store you use, search for CommandFusion and you will see a list of apps that are just rebranded iViewer apps.
They all load the same GUI files. iKontrol should show up world-wide (one of our OEM clients).

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

I am also a novice users, best to ask these questions to other more experienced EventGhost users.

There should be an example in the example config file for sending a volume level on a serial join.

Anyone else able to help out here with the other questions?

Re: CommandFusion: iPhone control with customizable interface

Being written by Apple (I think?) they would have access to any private API's they want, without the risk of being rejected from app store.

We will keep an eye on brightness level change possibilities, but I am pretty certain that iPhone OS 3.1.3 and below didn't have this ability (check how the ...
