I have created a CloseEventGhost.bat file wich I placed in the c:\Programs Files\EventGhost directory
the content of this file is (TSKILL /A /V EventGhost )
I've inclued my working configuration

The reason explorer is not running is because XBMC will be to slow to handle video files.... system goes to 100% when I drop the explorer as shell and use a external player like vlc in conjunction with XBMC the CPU usage drops significantly...

I'm getting closer; manualy starting the macro's works, but on reboot or manually starting the first one only the first one gets started exiting XBMC doesn't launch the second one when I quit XBMC.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi I noticed it's already in the autostart but how do I proceed?
There is a text "Log only assigned and activated events" in the bottom of EventGhost's window, uncheck it if it's checked, now you should get different events in the log window when programs start/stop and others.

Now the question:
I would like to start c:\windows\explorer.exe after the user quits XBMC.
So in essence I would like to start a program after another one quits..how do I do that?
Try this plugin Task Create/Switch Events it creates events when programs start and exit.

Hi There,
I use this program to start xbmc on an old Aspire3633 acer laptop, to let it run smoothly I had to disable the explorer.exe shell.
Thanks to you guys I'm able to view my movies without glitches....I'm using Evenghost 0.3.7r1194 as the replacement shell thanks thanks
