Hi All. I think I have figured this out. Its a bit crude but it works.

It's all to do with using the Keyboard emulation under eventghost, and the new keyboard shortcuts under windows 7.

First things first, make sure that you have all your resolutions set correctly for your different displays. Do ...

Ok, I think I fixed the problem.

I had to go into Device Manager, down to the USB Controllers section, get the properties of the "eHome Infrared Receiver (USBCIR)", go to the Power Managment tab, and un-check the option "Allow this device to wake the computer".

Now S3 Sleep mode works correctly ...

Now I have a similar problem to fallacy, but my issue is that my PC usually goes into S3 mode after about 1 hour on inactivity (idle), but since running EventGhost (which I think is a great piece of software) the PC tries to go to S3 mode, but just ends up back at the vista login screen.
