Re: New way to get MCE Remote signals in EG (for Vista/Win7)
Hi Brett,
unfortunately I didn't find my TV model in the remote central database , is there any other database for codes like this?
when I push power near the IR receiver I see this line on the log of EG :
22:10:28 MceRemote.Unknown.BEBABEBAABFFABFF8
and when I do the "learn an IR code..." I ...

thanks you sythious for the replay.
this is a very interesting article about this subject.

Re: New way to get MCE Remote signals in EG (for Vista/Win7)
EventGhost.Wait(0.20000000000000001)
0.1 cause the problem again.
beside, with 0.2 you can't feel the waiting time...
its response pretty much like you expect from a TV remote.
adding a note to the plug-in is a good idea in my opinion.
this solution , despite that it is not the cleanest solution ...

Re: New way to get MCE Remote signals in EG (for Vista/Win7)
Hi again Brett
I found something that might be helpful to you to fix the problem.
after the EG freezes from handling my MCE events I closed the EG and started it again.
in the log I saw this:

Autostart
Plugin: Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista/Win7
MCE_Vista: MceIr ...

Re: New way to get MCE Remote signals in EG (for Vista/Win7)
Sorry for the confusion...
Yes , I have the same idea in mind when talking about blasting - to tell EG to send an IR code to other device...
but, pressing button on the MCE remote to trigger this blasting cause the problem.
I'm sorry I got the wrong text paste here in my last post.

Re: New way to get MCE Remote signals in EG (for Vista/Win7)
the Event Ghost goes to sleep , you press some other key and its not responding , then when its "wakes up" it response to the key you pressed in the sleeping time...
It's just an example, all the macros of this form acts the same :
