I have a Matrix Orbital VFD display (Model VK204-24-USB) and I would like EventGhost to be able to write to the display the display uses a virtual COM port (FTDI Chipset)
Is there anyway currently to get EventGhost to write to a USB Display?
I am currently using the software LCDSmartie to display ...

I figured out the answer to my previous post with some regedit fun but I now what a system and a Winamp Volume bar (Like the one you get with some of the keyboard/Soundcard/laptop/etc drivers

try the HID plug in it should say the name of your Keyboard in the configure page so select that and then it should HID:xxxxx (Where XXXXX is the key pressed)

I just picked up a Dell Multimedia Enhanced keyboard (Model SK-8135) off the 'Bay' for a cheap price and it works fine with Windows 7 but is there anyway to program what the enhanced Multimedia keys do?
