i.e. An alternate method for triggering (sending) events to your PC is what (I think) you are doing, which is using Locale to interface with the EventGhost Webserver plugin.

well i found a way t make it work....
a "Get" request to the following url http://192.168.0.100:8434/?myEvent
i have it set up on that port.... substitute the local host for my
dyndns and poof! Event Ghost on my pc sees "HTTP.myEvent"

thinking about this some more... could this be achieved by a simple input box on a web page that passes on the text put in it as an event to EG? Then i could send any command i want through one web interface.... i lack the html/java skills to make it happen tho.
