Good point, I was initially using 7 but then bumped back down to XP. The replacement service works brilliantly. Too bad there's not way to retrofit that into XP land.

Doesn't seem like this has changed in the last year.

Has anyone else come up with an alternative way of using a MCE receiver with generic remote signals?

Thank you very much.
Presently the 'Test' button does not fire off the Event in 'Event name:', the only thing that shows up in the log is Timer: Start new...
It would be helpful if 'Test' also fired the Timer.whatever event to actually test the trigger.

I've held off for a long time, but now that I'm revisiting this, I just can't seem to make time work for me.
Is there a doc somewhere to check out?

Here's what I'm trying to do. I want to use Timer to trigger a LibrayUpdate macro once per day.
