Changed the batteries, but still have the same problems. It's really annoying, because if I'm navigating in xbmc for example it will double click a button when I don't mean to. I would also love to be able to hold in a direction key and scroll faster the longer I hold it, but that's not a priority ...

Original Xbox Remote Inconsistent

Using: Windows 7 32 bit Build 7600, EventGhost 0.3.7.r965 & Original Xbox Remote

As the title says, the remote's button presses are inconsistent. For example if I view the log while making button presses, it will sometimes show the button pressed once and then other times it will show it pressed 2 ...

Thanks for the response. I got it figured out. I was trying to drag the "macro" from the log plane but I needed the "event".

Ok, I started using EventGhost for use with XBMC. I've read some guides and got the remote to work best using the XBMCRepeat Plugin.

I now want to find a way to launch XBMC from windows by pressing the Display button ...
