Unfortunately the blasting of the learned code doesn't seem to work.
Do you have the IR blaster cable plugged in? Unlike the USB-UIRT, it needs that.
I thought about that last night and started using a blaster cable but no luck. Are the two female plugs identical? They are numbered but there ...

Re: Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista and newer
My faithful USB-UIRT died so I am trying to get an HP MCE IR transeiver to work. Receiving IR commands work. But I can't get the Transmit IR to work since the learn IR will not work. I have the the AlternateMceIrervice installed and it seems to be installed correctly.

Re: RM-868 RF MCE Remote
Sorry for confusing the issue. I didn't expect the PHX01RN plug in to work without modifications so no harm there <grin>. I had assumed that since this was an RF remote, that it would require a different plugin but I will try out the MCE remote plugin tonight. to see how far I get.

Re: RM-868 RF MCE Remote
I reviewed the PHX01RN plugin. Will this allow me to trap the codes that seem to be trapped by Windows before EventGhost? or does that require a change to the device dll?

Re: RM-868 RF MCE Remote
Thanks for the comments. As I have played around with the different plug-in, I found that I could almost get things to work but I was not able to trap the volume up/down and power button (and others) that Windows seems to trap before the HID plugin in EventGhost.
Do you think that will be possible ...

RM-868 RF MCE Remote
I would like to try creating a plugin for the RM-868 RF MCE remote. I have tried using the hid and keyboard plugins but they only work partially. Are there any resources I can tap into to try and create a plug-in that would make effect use of this remote?
Thank you.
Thank you.

RM-868 RF MCE Remote
I have been looking for a good RF remote to use with EventGhost. I purchased the RM-868 RF/IR MCE remote but I don't see all of the remote buttons show up in EventGhost. I have been using the keyboard plugin as I thought the buttons were translated into key presses but perhaps there is a better ...

Re: Microsoft MCE Remote - Vista and newer
FOr some reason my EventGhost /XBMC setup has started acting up (after working well for several weeks). Right now in XBMC when I press on an arrow key on my remote, I get 1 event in Eventghost but 2 event in XBMC. I am assuming the XBMC is getting one from EventGhost and one directly from the remote ...

Re: PlayStation 3 Bluetooth Remote
Thanks for confirming. I have alwasy used IR in the oast but with the newly relocated TV the IR interference from the plasmaTV make IR impossible hence the desire for a bluetooth or RF solution.

Re: PlayStation 3 Bluetooth Remote
This thread seems to be pretty quiet. I read through the thread but wasn't able to conclusively determine if there was a version of the plugin that supported the volume up/volume down buttons on the new sony remote with the channel up/down volume up/down at the bottom of the remote. There is a mute ...

Sony Bluetooth Remote Plugin
I am trying to convert over to the Sony Bluetooth remote so I can avoid the problems with the IR input that suffers from interference from my plasma TV.

Re: Support for XBMC2 plugin (formerly XBMCRepeat)
I am trying to configure EventGhost so I can use the PVR functionality in XMBC. I have browsed through the XBMC2 tree a couple of times but can't seem to locate the PVR related functions,
Perhaps I am just missing something obvious.
