Need advice on handling multiple apps with a Harmony remote
I think I'll need quite a few screen buttons for each app. So does it makes sense to create an activity in the remote for each app I want to control?

I'm running EG as Admin but I have not disabled UAC and the old plugin is working.stottle wrote:The old plugin doesn't work unless you run as administrator and turn off UAC. MCE Plugin - option to disable HID service
Is disabling the HID service supposed to stop Windows from reacting to the remote? It doesn't do that on my Win 7 system.
When I installed the plugin I recall getting a message that the HID service could only be disabled if I'm running EG as admin. Later I discovered I have to run it as admin just ...

Is there something horrible about running EG as administrator in order to use the default plugin?
I have to run it as administrator anyway just to get it to save in Win 7.
