Thanks, I had just figured it out by using the first code to disable (think that is what you meant) the other button whilst it waits for a long key press on the shared code.
Finally, after a bit of play with the keymap.xml I will be able to use my Apple Remote in XBMC (Windows) as I used to in Plex ...

Can anyone help here?
Is there a way to have EG trigger an event on receiving 2 specific codes in quick succession?
Thanks.

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin
OK, But I was under the impression that the the remote button folder used the Remote.xml and as I want custom actions per screen in XBMC then editing this to give me these actions would also effect my normal remote which uses this keymap. That is why I though it may be better to use the Gamepad one ...

I am understanding how it all fits together now. Will play with the Gamepad settings as do not use one of them. If you are using a remote why not use XBMCRepeat\Buttons\Remote buttons?

Re: XBMCRepeat XBMC plugin based on the official plugin
I realise that and perhaps should not have mentioned my issue as you are right it is not connected.
My question/request was would it be possible for you to add an Aluminium Apple Remote folder under the Buttons Folder which would work with the joystick.AppleRemote.xml in XBMC.
Thanks again.
