I've attached my config but the summary is that I have 2 DirectoryWatcher watching ...

Re: Generic HID
I've tried different routes but can't seem to figure out the issue.
Thanks a lot for your help but I am giving up on this. Maybe I'll try with a different receiver some day.

Re: Generic HID
I checked and the driver is from Microsoft version 5.2.3790.1830
The strange thing is that if I look at the device manager, the device actually gets uninstalled by the OS. The plug and play add it back but then keep uninstalling. Which explains the back and forth Add/Remove...

Re: Generic HID
OK... I opened it and it is connected to a USB port. I changed it to USB_2 but still getting the same behavior.
Life sucks !
Could it be that the driver is only wanting to work with iMon... retarded but would not surprise me.

Re: Generic HID
I replaced it and I am now getting:
Error HID Device Disconnected: Vendor ID 5570 HID-compliant device
If I use the iMon plugin from Johnson (the original one I was trying to use) I get
Error opening HID Device: Vendor ID 5570 HID-compliant device (the system cannot find the file specified)

Re: Generic HID
The IR reciever is inside the Antec Case, it's not an external one. I can't remember where I plug it onto the mobo but will check that.
It does work if I use IMon Manager and either the remote that came with it RM200 or a MCE remote. But I would like to use eventghost with it so that I can program ...

Then System.DeviceRemoved Vid_15c2&Pid_0038
The case is the Antec Remote Black Fusion.
