thanks for the reply.
i did as you suggested and PuTTy does log the events but Event Ghost doesnt.
Iv attached the screen shot.

this means event ghost is not logging the commands, but the Lirc server is sending them out correctly...
what could the problem be?
what next?

hi,

Just completed a win 7 upgrade and i treid to install eventghost to get commands via an Irtrans receiver in a Zalman hd160 case. this combination worked fine in win xp.

anyway, after installing irtrans software/driver and eventghost, i added the lirc plugin and i keep receiving this error ...
