I solved the problem!!! its was on the remote model itself, your link to generic HID lead me to this post

http://www.eventghost.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1232&start=75 so I got it working, all was needed a modified driver.

After studying better the situation, I guess that this isnt working.

While having eventghost open, if I press any key on the remote, evenghost does not know what key I pressed, for example:

If i press the left arrow button on the remote, that action intearcts itself like if I ...

and this is a screen capture of my devices,

I have a generic remote, no brand specific.
It is recongnized by the system as HID interface i think.

Yes I.m using Mediaportal, and the mediaportal plugin. But still with the remote control, I can control windows 7 or any other program when they become active, (scroll, start button, etc) How did you set eventghost?

1) I installed eventghost
2) I disabled all the plugins ...
