Well it now does work with a delay of 5 seconds between starting xbmc and the wake on lan. Could only think of the possibility that first some processes have to be finished loading before a wake on lan command can be executed. Still a logical explanation from the developers would be of interest, or ...

Hello!
I'd like to use the wake on lan command so that my server turns on when I boot my HTPC with XBMC. Problem is: I have put wake on lan in autostart, but the server does not turn on. However if I open eventghost and execute this command manually, the server does boot as expected.
