Thanks for the reasponce, I do have W7. So I will have to do some tesing and see what I can come up with. The codes I need to send out are both based on Sony TV codes I think so they shouldn't be anything to uncommon. Trial and error I guess. What I need to do is have the PC send an IR code to my ...

I am looking at this software but have a couple of questions first.
1) I have 2 different IR reciever already. Both are listed as Microsoft eHome IR Transceivers in the device manager. Is there any way to know if they will work for receive and transmit?
