I used the original MCE plugin with EG successfully until I installed a Blackgold 3620 TV card which adds an additional Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver [even though no remote hardware is supplied with the card].
Now I have double entries for all eHome devices listed in Device Manager except ...
