Are you perhaps using XBMC? If so, this is not related to EventGhost.
What you mean is: "I need to sync (turn on) my wireless Xbox 360 controller BEFORE starting XBMC."
The explanation would be that XBMC only checks for gamepads on startup. When your wireless controller isn't turned on, it is not ...
