There is a hack that essentially disconnects the bluetooth device and then reconnects it. It shows potential but I'm not 100% sure if this is working.
Ben's recent tweet says "Guess I will have to find another way of getting the remote to hibernate..." I take it from that that it isn't working.

Is this plugin still being actively developed? If so, any chance that sniff mode is being implemented?
