Re: Adesso ARC-1100 for MediaPortal in XP
Thanks for remembering me! I posted in that other thread so I can see if it works for that other guy. I have an alternative solution right now but I liked EG's better. If someone else has success I will give it a try. Have a great day!

I couldn't find a way to subscribe to this thread w/o posting. I want to see how this plays out as I too have failed to get this to work on Win 10 w/ EG. Sadly I do not have time to test this fix myself right now but I hope it is proven to work.

Re: Adesso ARC-1100 for MediaPortal in XP
Hello,
Sorry for the delay and thank you for your help so far.
I have attached a zip containing two screenshots of the error message. The second screenshot shows the complete Status message which didn't fit after I resized the first column to show the entire string.
The log.txt is also in there ...

Re: Adesso ARC-1100 for MediaPortal in XP
Thank you for your reply! That is encouraging. In regards to the error, I will re-install EG and take a screenshot of the error, but like I said it was non-descript, like "Failed to install driver" or something like that. I'll get the screenshot though.
